4 YEARS CHILDCARE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Students in our 4-year-old program engage in challenging academic work in preparation for Pre-K. They get their names written and spelled and do some basic maths and science investigations. Our well-organized classrooms make it easy to move from one activity to the next. Teachers also place special attention on students’ emotional growth, instructing them on how to identify and process their emotions and solve problems. Our supermarket-themed area, for instance, incorporates lessons in economics, geography, and English. Our program prepares children, ages 4, for success in Pre-K by providing a safe and stimulating environment for their development.
Students will be given specific times to spend at each program, and as they enter the three-year-old classroom, they will begin to grasp the significance of the new concepts they are learning in math, language arts, and social studies. Students will never do the same task twice, but will continue to study about the same subject, with the goal of keeping their minds actively engaged in learning rather than tiring of it.
